Obstacles faced in implementing Activity 1: There has unfortuantely been delays in commencing this project due to the requirement for the agreement between DNP and IUCN to be approved by the Thai Department of Foreign Affairs. The agreement is now in the final stages of approval. While the agreement has been processed, implementation has begun on certain aspects of the project including refining the budget and workplan timeframe, sourcing of a national and international consultant, and planning for the first stakeholder workshop in the first quarter 2010.
