Obstacles faced in implementing Activity 1: Implementing the components of the project at the same time is a challenge. Our understanding was that component on governace would be implemented first followed by the component on valuation of protected areas
Lessons learned in implementing Activity 1: At first we had two separate PSC for the two components of the project. However the two committees have been merged into one since both components of the project feed into the other for example the two pilot sites shall be used by the two project components. Furthermore, information on governance is also vital for valuation component and vice versa.
